Priyanka, John in cool CoorgIt’s destination Coorg for the Saat Khoon Maaf team, with director Vishal Bhardwaj commencing shooting for the film near Virajpet. John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra, along with Vishal, have checked into an exotic resort in Coorg located 5 km from Madikere.

When TOI spoke to the owner of the resort, R Arvind, he sounded excited about their stay. “They’ve booked the entire resort for the next 50 days,” says Arvind, adding, “Vishal checked in four days ago and he seemed to be enjoying every moment.”

Priyanka and John checked in last Saturday with Anu Kapoor, Usha Uthup and Naseeruddin Shah’s youngest son, Vivaan Shah. The lead pair also enjoyed the IPL final together and tucked into seafood at the resort. A source tells us, “An old church has been recreated on location for the shoot. It took almost a month to put up the edifice, which is reminiscent of the ’20s architecture.”

Apparently, Vishal is happy with the quiet nature of the shooting spot. “He hopes that it’ll be maintained till they complete the schedule in Coorg,” says our source.While John flew back to Mumbai on Monday after two days of filming, Priyanka is the cynosure of all eyes now.

Deepika, Ranbir together again? In a small and incestuous industry like Bollywood, it’s hard to totally blank out your ex. Sometimes, it just makes good business sense to work with them again, especially if you make a good-looking couple on screen.

May be Deepika Padukone has adopted the forgive-and-forget stance or she is dignified enough to not let the past come in the way of professional decisions. Whatever it is, she may be seen with her ex, Ranbir Kapoor, in a film soon.

The film in question is Anurag Basu’s Khamoshi. The story, a love triangle, already has Priyanka Chopra playing one of the lead roles - that of a mentally challenged girl. Incidentally, Anurag Basu approached Deepika after Katrina walked out of the film when she learnt that Priyanka is starring in it.

Deepika doesn’t want her personal equations to come in the way

Our source said, “Anurag has approached Deepika. However, she still needs to take the final call. Ranbir plays the lead role and after their bitter break-up last year, they have not spoken to each other. However, when Deepika got the offer, she was not surprised and is looking at the film professionally.

She doesn’t want her personal equations to come in the way. Deepika will now have a final meeting before taking a call.”
So what are Anurag’s options in case Deepika decides that the discomfort is too high a price to pay? The source adds, “Asin was also being considered for the role before Anurag approached Deepika. But Anurag is now clear that he wants Deepika and is hoping that she will accept. He is also very clear that if Deepika does not do the film for any reason, he will then cast a newcomer.”

Dia launches 3D televisions

Story: Arbaaz Khan gets the seven-year-itch when his wife, Tara Sharma goes to Mysore on family business, with their precocious kid. Can't blame him, since the no-brain neighbour, Madhuri Dixit, literally throws herself on him, with her funny mission of finding love, not marriage.

Movie Review: Sad. Salman Khan tries so hard to add some humour to this humourless film. But nothing seems to work. Neither the apology of a plot that tries to preserve the sanctity of marriage amidst extra-marital flings. Nor the plethora of comic actors, headed by Johnny Lever, who ironically make you cringe with their loud, crude, no-laughing-matter acts.

Try figuring out what the filmmaker means when he likens marriage to a public toilet and wives to an internet virus. Maybe Tara Sharma and newcomer Madhuri Bhattarcharya might be able to shed some light on the similes, as they try and keep pace with Arbaaz Khan's wooden antics.

Salman to marry a Punjabi Kudi

According to a Bollywood source Salman will marry a beautiful Punjabi kudi, who is not an actress. It is said that it takes Salman some time to recover from this heartbreak. Meanwhile, what’s brewing between Ranbir and Katrina we don’t know, but a source says that it’s Salman’s bad karma coming back to him.

The source told us this story about how years and years ago, when Ranbir was still known as Rishi Kapoor’s son, Sallu had roughed him up at a nightclub for commenting about Aishwarya. And it’s the same bad karma that’s caused Ranbir to steal Kat away from him.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are all set to solemnise their love story. The lovebirds who met on the set of their 2003 film Tujhe Meri Kasam and fell in love, will get married in 2010.

It is believed that the families have given Ritiesh their blessings and the shaadi will take place in July this year. The Deshmukhs is already making preparations and have told their relatives and close friends about a tentative wedding date.

Those close to Riteish always knew that he would eventually get married to her. She is the first girl he invited home to meet his parents. At the time, the family had reservations about him bringing in a non-Maratha bahu but they saw that their beta was serious even after six years.

It's been over four years since his older brother Amit got married, and there was pressure for Riteish to get married. He made it clear that his choice was Genelia who he calls Genes lovingly. Both sets of parents met and now the wheels have been set in motion.

The couple has also purchased property at Pali Hill where they plan to shift post-wedding. "Riteish being an architect has been busy hunting property for the last few months. In fact, he and Genelia have sat down and designed the interiors. Some of their close friends have even seen the blueprint and it looks very impressive." Giving details about the wedding the source adds, "The Deshmukhs have many relatives from Latur and they've all have been informed."

The shaadi was even a hot topic of discussion Sunday night when Riteish invited Shah Rukh, Gauri, Karan, Sajid Khan along with some friends over for dinner. "Whenever his friends are over, they all keep teasing and prodding him about tying the knot. Now he's finally told them that he is taking the plunge this year."

Avatar director James Cameron was recently in India for a meet on films, trade and blah! But we assume the real reason behind his stay was to hire actors for a Bollywood sequel to one of the biggest movies ever made.

And forget CGI gimmicks! Crazy Cameron is actually planning on cultivating 'Na'vi DNA' and injecting them into the ones from Mumbai. Cameron was reportedly heard claiming that Avatar 2: Back to Pandora will actually involve human cloning - quite unlike Spileberg's trick hens in Jurassic Park.

Katrina doesn`t want to share screen with Priyanka

Only solo-heroine films for Katrina Kaif - at least for now. That's what the actress has decided after a string of successes from Namaste London to Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani .

Soon after reports that Katrina had agreed to be part of a film which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, comes news that she has opted out of the Anurag Basu film. Explaining the rationale of her decision, a close friend of the actress says, "When Katrina agreed to do Anurag Basu's film with Ranbir, no mention was made of another heroine, and certainly not of Priyanka. However, when word about this reached her, she found the whole idea of the credit titles reading 'Ranbir-Katrina-Priyanka' too gimmicky. Not that she has anything against Priyanka or any other costar."

But the more immediate reason for Katrina could be that she has finally acquired the rights to produce the remake of a French film - she's been after it for almost a year now and wants to immediately allot time for this pet project.

Having signed Dostana 2 and Zoya Akhtar's next, besides Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan (for which she's shooting at the moment), the only way she could accommodate this remake was to refuse any other projects this year.

Katrina doesn't deny she has decided to do only solo-heroine films. "I am not saying I won't do films with other leading ladies, but for now, I'm happy in the space I am. Why should I unnecessarily rock the boat? And yes, I am finally about to lock the deal to produce my film. It's a fabulous role and I've been angling for the remake rights for quite some time. I'd like to get down to it as soon as possible."

The remake of the French film will feature Katrina as a scheming gold-digger. She has apparently been pining to play a grey role for some time now.

Spotted: Deepika piggybacking Imran KhanThe gorgeous Deepika Padukone and the cutiepie Imran Khan are currently shooting for director-producer Kunal Kohli’s ‘Break Ke Baad’. Sources from the sets say that the two hot and young stars had hit it off on the sets of the film right from day 1.

It’s beautiful to see how its not just competition with each other but also camaraderie that these new generation stars share. And the above picture is witness to the bond that’s developed between Deepika and her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor’s arch rival Imran Khan.

As Deepika and Imran wrapped up their Delhi schedule of ‘Break Ke Baad’, both the stars indulged in some “goofing around,” as Imran puts it. Both Deeps and Immu posted this picture on their respective twitter account to make their fans a part of their world that’s full of fun and masti. Now isn’t that cute?

Kareena turned down the offer for a TV show titled under her name “Main Kareena Kapoor Banna Chahti Hoon” even when the producers were ready to throw a huge deal. However the actress turned down the offer just because she have no time when she is already busy running between films and endorsements.
"Television is an option that I definitely find exciting, but I would much rather concentrate on one thing now. So it is films for the moment. I will consider television perhaps after a year-and-a-half or two. I have been offered a television show in the past, too. But I haven’t bitten the bait because my film career is rocking", said Kareena in a recent interview.

Salman and Katrina’s bouncers creates trouble!

It is a fact that celebrities have bouncers to keep them safe when they are in public. But just imagine what happens if the same guards creates trouble to them!

The news is that Salman’s bodyguards were seen dragging away a female reporter and eventually hurting her after Salman was leaving the venue of muhurat of Smita Thackeray’s film Society. Similarly Katrina’s bodyguard stepped on a journalist’s foot, forcing her to cry out in pain after the actress was leaving the venue of FICCI-FRAMES Conference.
 
The best part is that Salman was seen laughing as he saw the journalist was dragged away by the guards. But Katrina on the other hand expressed her concern to the journalist and even warned her guard to be more careful.
 
Here is where the difference lies!!!
