Sonakshi Sinha tweets an apology for Sarvjeet

Delhi: Sarvjeet, the man accused of molestation of Jasleen Kaur is completely false. Like many others one of our celeb speak out about her feelings for the accused Sarvjeet. Kudos to Sonakshi Sinha for coming out and speaking her mind! Sonakshi Sinha has come forth on Twitter, expressing her discontent over the way things have unfolded in this case fuelled by an incessant blame game. Apologising to Sarvjeet, this is what she had to say: "Being a girl, gave the benefit of doubt to Jasleen, like many others! And like many others am embarrassed n let down! Apologies to the guy."

In short: The girl uploaded Sarabjit's photograph on Facebook and wrote about the alleged incident in a post, which went viral, with many slamming the guy. Days later, a man, claiming to be an eyewitness in the case, said the girl fabricated the story.

Sarabjit, 26, has been granted bail.

Sonakshi Sinha has become a big name in Bollywood industry in a span of few years. Sonakshi Sinha is one the few actresses of Bollywood who has the highest number of 100 crore grosser registered to her name. Although, the movies were big hits because of the actors associated with it, but there is no denying that Sonakshi played a decent hand in those movies.

Sonakshi Sinha had her share of hard work for becoming the famous star that she is today. Her filmy background was of little help to her but also had to work hard with her fitness regime as to for her debut movie she was needed to lose 30-35kgs.

1.In 2010, Sonakshi marked her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan with blockbuster hit Dabangg and she had to lose close to 30 kilos for the film.

One of the biggest gangsters and on the wanted list of India is Dawood Ibrahim. The 'Don' had a huge family of twelve siblings but it was one of his sisters Sonakshi Sinha (Haseena Parkar) who has a rather interesting story to tell. Director Apoorva Lakhia is all set to put her life on the big screen and playing her role will be Sonakshi Sinha in the film Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai, produced by Mubina Rattonsey.

Apoorva Lakhia has been toying with the idea of making a film on Haseena Parkar since quite some time now. However, the director finally found the right actress in Sonakshi Sinha. Stating that Haseena was a complex personality, Apoorva mentioned that it was Sameer Antulay (Haseena Parkar's nephew) who approached him with the idea and later Mubina and Sonakshi decided to be a part of it. On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen in an author backed role in A R Murugadoss' Akira, is equally excited about playing Haseena. While she is glad about playing a character which is a complete opposite of what she is, she is also happy that her wish of doing a biopic is fulfilled.

Haseena, the seventh out of the twelve siblings, lived in Nagpada, Mumbai and died in 2014 after suffering from a massive heart attack. Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai is slated to go on floor early next year. Sonakshi is all excited to play the role of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena in an upcoming biopic.

Oh my gawd, Look a like of Sonakshi Sinha is looking more beautiful than her. Well she is not Sonakshi's sister actually, she is Sonakshi Sinha’s look-alike, Priya Mukherjee. Priya goes by the handle "sonakshisinha_lookalike" on Instagram and is a huge fan of the ‘Dabangg’ actress. She also chooses to wear identical clothes to Sonakshi, picking saris similar to what the desi belle has previously worn. Well, we wonder what Sonakshi has to say about her new ‘sister’!

Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently busy shooting for her film Akira, will star opposite John Abraham in the upcoming action drama Force 2.

The 28-year-old will be seen playing the role of a RAW agent in the Abinay Deo-directed film, which is a sequel to the 2011 movie of the same name.

Sonakshi Sinha has often been on the wrong side of the fashion police. But the Dabangg girl is all set to change that. Flaunting a newly sculpted body, Sonakshi has done a photoshoot for the December 2013 issue of L'Officiel India. With Sonakshi going bold and playing up her oomph factor, this shoot breaks all stereotypes this demure beauty has been cast into. Wearing a sheer Jatin Verma gown, she has been photogrpahed by Suresh Natrajan. Excerpts from her interview done as part of her photoshoot:

You look very different from a typical Hindi film heroine. Does that work for or against you in Bollywood?

3 years. 9 films. Mostly all biggest grossers of the year. So you tell me if that has worked for me or against me? And I received a lot of appreciation for holding on my own, no matter who I was paired with, be it Salman or the current favourite Ranveer.

Talking of Ranveer, you made considerable advances on him in Lootera, breaking your on-screen image of a demure woman. You even did an intimate scene with him. Will we see you breaking more boundaries on screen in future? Like in a bikini? Or a steamy kissing scene?

As you move ahead in life, you tend to do different things that will naturally break some old moulds that people may have set you in. I did an intimate scene with Ranveer because the script required it, not because I was looking to ditch my coy on-screen image. And I stuck to doing only what I was comfortable with. When Vikramaditya (Motwane) came to me with the script, it had a full-fledged kissing scene. I told him I won’t be able to do it. He really wanted me to be a part of the film so he accommodated my demand and replaced the kissing scene with an aesthetically shot intimate scene. As for a bikini, I won’t be at ease being seen in one, so I won’t do it. I have to face my parents. I like being edgy and experimental sometimes, but I won’t cross the line of comfort.

Do you think being a Sinha daughter has helped you in your Bollywood innings? Or like many other Bollywood kids, are you also going to crib about the family name putting pressure on you instead?

I did get a lot of opportunities served on a platter because of my family name. Why should I deny it? But having said that, the family name only helps you get your foot into the industry, which in itself is a big deal. After that, if you don’t prove yourself, you are written off. My audiences loved me from my debut in Dabbang. They saw a spark in me, and that pushed me to give more. I don’t know the last time so much pressure was put on any actress.
