Mumbai: Salman Khan’s friends continue to address Katrina as ‘Katrina Bhabhi’ despite the two splitting ways, reports say.

The two have moved on in life and have decided to remain friends forever.
With respect to Katrina’s behavior, a common friend stated “She doesn`t invite proximity. But once you are a part of her close circle, she effortlessly draws you close to the goodness of her heart.”
The friend said further, “It is impossible to be angry or sarcastic with Katrina. Forget about being violent. No man would dare to misbehave with her.”
With Katrina’s debut film “Boom” which tanked at the box-office, it was Salman Khan who approached filmmakers to sign Katrina as most directors were reluctant in signing a non-Hindi speaking girl for their film.
A friend added “She knows she has moved to another level in their relationship where they are no more boyfriend-girlfriend. Salman has attained a level of empathy with Katrina that he has never reached in any previous relationship.”

"Yeah, we had fistfights too. I was thinking of taking a picture of Deepika and me embroiled in a fist fight and putting it up on Twitter for the media," the actress told Hindustan Times. But in reality, Bips supports her fellow actress and is happy that her item number is a hit. "The song is already a chartbuster. And I'm sure it'll work for us," she said. Talk about a meeting of the movie minds! Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan and Hollywood heavy-hitter Hugh Jackman are set to take the stage and discuss the future of cinema at the FICCI FRAMES 2011 film and media conference in Mumbai on March 25!

And as if that wasn't cool enough, none other than B-town diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will introduce Hugh Jackman at the conference. Jackman was apparently invited by another Bollywood big shot, director. Karan Johar, with whom the tinseltown star will also discuss Hollywood and Bollywood business. Sounds like serious stuff! We can't wait to hear all about it...

Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan in a love story

The fans of Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan have a reason to rejoice. Those itching to see the two together on the big screen will find their wish fulfilled, thanks to the veteran director Yash Chopra.

The new buzz in tinsel town is that Mr. Chopra, the master of romantic films, is ready to roll up his sleeves and direct again after a long gap since his last film Veer Zaara, which as we all know was with Shahrukh Khan.

That Yash Chopra’s next film, too, will have Shahrukh was reported sometime back. But now the juicy gossip we’ve stumbled upon is that Katrina Kaif is top billed to land the role opposite Shahrukh in the film. This would be the first time that Katrina, the ex girlfriend of Salman Khan, will be seen romancing Sallu’s rival on the big screen.

Incidentally, Katrina has never let the spat between Sallu and SRK effect her equation with the latter. She has always been on talking terms with SRK and was even spotted bonding with King Khan at the birthday party of Hrithik Roshan earlier this year.

Now, the maiden pairing of SRK and Kat and that too in a romantic film by Yash Chopra! Does it get bigger than this?

When John and Genelia 'almost' got married

This was one pairing which was waiting to happen. After being ‘cast’ together in the LG ad, the John-Genelia pair was just the toast and the talk of the town, which is now being toasted in Vipul Shah’s Force.


And when people talk of dedication and getting into the role, this duo will not just take the cake, but the entire bakery as a whole! What happened was that John and Genelia were shooting for a wedding scene which required them to do the traditional ‘saat pheras’. Reports have it that they were actually ‘stopped’ from finishing the saat pheras at the last minute. The reason? Well, news has it that ceremony conducted was so authentic that, by the time John-Genie completed the last round, they would have actually been pati-patni! The shoot happened in Malshej Ghat. Now for the twist! What actually happened was that whenever the film’s director Nishikant Kamath would say cut, the pandit just would not stop! That’s when someone from the unit realized and the ‘couple’ had to be stopped before the final round.”


Talking about the incident, Vipul Shah said that pandit in the scene was a localite who could not understand the dynamics of the shoot and insisted on completing the pheras. Despite the many attempts to make him understand about the ‘shot’, he just wouldn’t budge!


All in all, the shoot went on well! May we say, may the ‘Force’ be with John and Genelia.

Bollywood’s ‘Kaminey’chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor has been in news recently for his alleged break up with girlfriend Priyanka Chopra. When Piggy Chops was found missing in Sasha’s latest birthday party, grapevine was ripe with the news of the duo’s split up. But things seem to be changing colors really fast in B town. As soon as Priyanka landed back in Mumbai on Friday after a shooting schedule for Don 2 in Malaysia, Shahid has been sending her constant SMSes that read phrases like ‘Miss You’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Let’s work this out’. So……is Shahid wanting Piggy Chops back?


Priyanka being the true Cancerian girl had been giving her best shot for being Shahid’s special someone is what her close friends have to say. But a recent tiff between the two called for a split up. Priyanka then flew off to the US with friends during Shahid’s birthday though she left a small token of love for him……a white helmet to accompany him on his new Harley Davidson. Infact sources have reported that Sasha has been sending Priyanka’s favourite flowers to woo her back. But Priyanka has been indifferent to all this.

Priyanka Chopra wants to marry six times in real life

Priyanka ChopraBollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra seems to have taken her role in her latest blockbuster movie “7 Khoon Maaf” a little too seriously! The versatile actress, who gets married seven times in this latest thriller, says she would love to marry at least six times in real life – BUT to the same man.
“I have been planning my wedding since as far back as I can remember! My ideal scenario is getting married six times (to the same man of course),” Priyanka revealed in the upcoming, second anniversary issue of fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
The 28-year-old, one of the most eligible singles in tinsel town, already has elaborate plans set in her mind about the six spots and types of ceremonies she would like to have.
“My dadaji’s (grandfather’s) house in Ambala – my ‘big, fat Indian wedding’; underwater at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; a church in Las Vegas – wearing a short black dress and with the priest dressed as Elvis; the intimate ceremony – at a small, beautiful church in Locarno, Switzerland. It’s on top of a hill that overlooks parts of Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. She also wants to go in for a nikah.
“Only very close family and friends will be present; a nikah – I think it’s a beautiful, romantic ceremony – the curtains, the stolen glances, the words, and finally the acceptance… ‘Kabool hai’; and lastly, the groom’s choice! If my future groom survives all that, then we’ll survive anything!” she added.
The plans are all quite set of course, but Priyanka says marriage does not figure on her priority list as of now.





Arbaaz Khan to direct Dabangg sequel

Well, we are sure that you all will be waiting with bated breath to know the status of the sequel of the smash hit film Dabangg. So are we. Well, the news is finally out that it's not Abhinav Kashyap, but Arbaaz Khan himself who will be directing the much awaited sequel, thus marking his directorial debut!

News has it that, there were some differences between the Khan brothers and Abhinav Kashyap. What happened was that, Arbaaz received a SMS from Abhinav stating that he won't be directing the sequel. Meanwhile, Arbaaz did not deny the 'differences' aspect between Abhinav and him over a couple of weeks. Arbaaz also said that it was strange that Abhinav, rather than coming personally, sent him just a SMS telling him about him not directing the sequel.

Abhinav's exit has now paved an entry to Arbaaz Khan, who will now be donning the director's cap. On a lighter note, one is reminded of Salman Khan's famous statement in the film 'Ab tak nahlaaya tha... ab dhoonugaa". In the same breath, Arbaaz Khan can now say, 'Ab tak film produce lkiya tha... ab direct karoonga'! What say, Arbaaz Dabangg Khan.

     

Housefull 2 to be shot in virgin locales like Chile and Argentina

Housefull 2 will be shot in Chile and Argentina where no Hindi film has been shot before.

"Besides these virgin locales, we're also shooting Housefull 2 in the UK, Phuket and Hong Kong," informs Sajid. 

It's not just virgin locations that turn on Sajid Khan. It's also virgin pairs. 

"That's why I've replaced all the girls. I've paired Asin for the first time with Akshay, John Abraham for the first time with Jacqueline Fernandez. We're looking for a leading lady for Riteish Deshmukh," informs Sajid Khan. Now that Riteish's good friend and co-star Jacqueline has moved on to John on screen, one wonders whom Riteish will get paired with in Housefull 2! 

Sajid is also excited about bringing the two brothers Randhir and Rishi Kapoor together. "I'm their huge fan. I had so much fun working with Dabooji in Housefull. And Chintuji is arguably the most natural entertainer we've ever had in our films. And guess what? I'm naming them 'Daboo' and 'Chintu' in the film as well." 

Sajid Khan is in principal against sequels. "I dropped plans of doing a sequel to my Heyy Babyy. But Housefull is a franchise. My producer Sajid Nadiadwala and I want to carry it forward. We've retained the name and the basic premise of a house crammed full with character chaos and comedy. Everything else is completely different from the first Housefull."
