Bipasha Basu vying for Salman Khan’s magic touch?

We don’t mean the physical kind, but the superstar’s power to spruce up dull careers

The Tiger was spotted with a new tigress! It’s a simple story, so don’t leap happily to any conclusions here. We mean that Salman Khan was seen lost in conversation with the sexy Bipasha Basu at an extremely popular fine dine restaurant in a Mumbai suburb. While we don’t have a picture posted by the fan who saw the No Entry co-stars together, Bips as usual looked smoking hot, we are told.

Since both stars are hot and single, there’s nothing earth-shattering about them meeting up over some good food and wine, wethinks. What intrigues us is that Bips and Sallu were never really friends, so what’s with the new found dosti and dinner date?

When the Bong babe was dating John Abraham, she kept her distance from the Khan. Why? During a worldwide concert, John had apparently rubbed angry man Salman the wrong way, and since then the two men had avoided each other’s paths. And the brawny actor’s then-babe followed in her man’s trail. But clearly that’s a forgotten memory, especially for the Ek Tha Tiger star, who is known to hold grudges for a long time.

However, we think the Sallu-Bips dinner date wasn’t romantic in nature, but more a professional meeting. The Jodi Breakers leading lady’s career is on a route that definitely doesn’t lead to the coveted Number One position. And so Bips has turned to the famous knight in shining armour for strugglers and under-achievers, Sallu miyaan…at least, that’s our theory!

Remember Sneha Ullal, Katrina Kaif, Zarine Khan and Sonakshi Sinha? While the Dabangg girl’s journey so far in B-town looks promising, the only lady’s career that’s shining bright is Kat’s. But let’s not forget that her leading position in B-town is mainly the result of her hard work, perseverance and patience.

Meanwhile Salman, who has been surprising us every now and then with his new attitude towards life – the latest is that the Dabangg dude has given up smoking and turned vegetarian due to his health problems – is considering aiding the once-upon-a-time-foe’s ex-girlfriend, Bips’ and pushing her unexciting career into a more happy path. Or is he?

After a little snooping around about the dinner date, we found out that Blockbuster Khan wants the Bong babe to show off her seductive moves and fabulous legs in an item song for his home production Sher Khan. We guess that’s a good start for the Sallu-Bips friendship. Will it all lead somewhere? We wonder….
