Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar, who turned 48 today, rang in his birthday with his beautiful and witty wife Twinkle Khanna. Twinkle took to Twitter to share with her fans and followers a photo of hers with superstar Akshay Kumar and captioned, “All set for the birthday boy’s dinner #happybirthday”

 Famous for his witty charm and drop-dead good looks, Akshay has struggled his way to the top and is one of the highest tax-payers of India.

Known for his varied kind of roles in movies like ‘Aitraaz’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Mohra’, ‘Baby’, ‘Yeh Dillagi’ and the recently released ‘Brothers’, Akshay Kumar is hailed as one of the superstars who have been reigning Bollywood for more than two decades.

The “Brothers” star also thanked his admirers for the cakes, video and tweets.
“A big thank you to all my fans who celebrate my birthday as their own. Saw the cakes, videos, tweets! Love you all. God bless always.” 
Akshay is all geared up for the promotion of the “Singh Is Bliing”, which will see him teaming up with actress Amy Jackson for the first time. The film will hit theatres on October 2. On the special occasion of his birthday, Akshay ‘gifted’ his fans and followers another song from ‘Singh Is Bliing’, helmed by Prabhudheva. The movie also stars Amy Jackson.
