As Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his 50th birthday today, fans and well-wishers surrounded his resident 'Mannat' in Mumbai.



The superstar came out and scaled the high wall to greet thousands of his loyal fans.

SRK, who was touched with all the love wrote on his social networking handle, "Right now so humbled by the attention & love being given to my Birthday. Didn’t ever realise living will be so beautiful. Thanks all."

Mumbai: Post the super success of ‘Dabangg’ at the Box Office last year, Salman Khan has become the undisputed reigning king of Bollywood. The actor is very much in demand and even the biggest of banners are gung-ho to have ‘Dabangg’ Khan on board for their latest productions.

Reportedly, a source has revealed that a big banner (name not disclosed) is willing to pay Sallu whatever price he quotes. The reputed production company in question had earlier negotiated fees of bigwigs like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Even Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor have had to curtail their price for the banner. But Salman is walking through easily without having to even think about his remuneration!

Talking to a daily, the source said, "This banner is desperate to work with Salman. For their spy thriller, that will be shot in at least seven foreign locations, they have apparently signed him for 17.5 crore plus a share in the profits."

Well…Salman is finally back in full form. The flamboyant star who was previously more in news for all his link-ups and controversies is now making headlines with respect to his acting ability and crowd pulling persona.

And after beating the actor of the millennium, perfection Khan, King Khan, kid Kapoor and ‘Kaminey’ Kapoor, Salman can rightly be tagged invincible. At least in terms of his price tag!!!

Don 2 – The Chase Continues

After success of Don – The Chase Begins, Farhan Akhtar is back with the sequel Don 2 – The Chase Continues starring Sharukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Isha Kopikaar as main leads. Other actors expected to play role in Don 2 are Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Kareena Kapoor. As per the sources, the shooting for the film is expected to start in a few months and movie is expected to release in 2011. Farhan says, the shooting of the film will take place in Philippines and Germany, with a few scenes in other European countries. According to ‘Times of India’ Don 2 will be ‘one of the most anticipated sequels of all time’.

Don 2 story written by Fans

According to some sources, Farhan says that the story of Don 2 (sequel of Don) is being written by fans only. He says that 2 enthusiastic boys namely Ameet and Amreesh came to me with their bright ideas about how the story of Don can be carries forward and a new sequel namely ‘Don 2′ can be written. Conclusively, the story of Don 2 is being written by 3 fans of Don.

Don 2 shoot to begin in October

Don 2 – The Chase Continues , the seqeul of Don is now confirmed. According to director Farhan Akhtar the shooting of the movie will begin in 1st or 2nd October 2010. Everyone is excited about it. Not only fans but Farhan himself is looking forward to the sequel.

Priyanka Chopra has signed on enough projects to last her until next year. Says the actress, “I’m listening to several scripts right now.

Akon to star with SRK in new film?


Akon will reportedly be starring in a science-fiction superhero thriller with Shah Rukh Khan.
The R&B singer is rumoured to be performing one song and taking on a role in the long-awaited Ra.One, which also stars Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi.
Bollywood legend Khan will be playing a US-based software engineer forced to take on his own version of Frankenstein's monster, the eponymous video game beast.
New Kerala reports that the Sengalese-American singer recently met with Khan in Los Angeles, while the actor was out there promoting My Name Is Khan.
