It's almost a wrap for 2015, and we can't help but look back at what a great year it has been for Bollywood. From commercial hits like Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Dil Dhadakne Do, to intense and artsy films like Badlapur, Piku, and the more recent Tamasha, 2015 has witnessed some never-seen-before kind of flicks. But if you think it was great, well, 2016 is just about to get better. Check out these Bollywood films coming your way in 2016, guaranteed to get you very, very excited!

1. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
There are a lot of things going for this flick. First of all, it's got an amazing star cast. Ranbir Kapoor teams up with Aishwarya Rai for the first time ever, which should be quite interesting to see. But if that wasn't enough, even Fawad Khan and Anushka Sharma are in on it. Also, Karan Johar returns to directing after three years, following Student Of The Year in 2012.

2. Fan
This Shahrukh Khan film has already created quite a lot of buzz around. Why? Simply because the movie has got a very novel plot. SRK plays his own fan in the movie. Sounds twisted, right? But that's what the movie is about. In fact, people have been going gaga over Shahrukh's look in this one, considering he looks like a different person entirely with the help of prosthetics.

3. Befikre
This film definitely sounds like a big deal, as Aditya Chopra returns to film direction after seven long years! His last directorial venture was Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. Vani Kapoor, who last starred in Shuddh Desi Romance has been finalised as the female lead, and she couldn't be more happy. Starring Ranveer as well, let's see if Chopra can recreate the magic with this one!

4. Dishoom
This one has quite an interesting star cast - Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and John Abraham. Directed by Varun's brother Rohit Dhawan, the film is said to have a ton of high octane bike stunts, for which bikes have been imported from Germany and London! Considering both John and Varun are bike lovers, looks like this film's going to be a full-on Hindi-pichar style entertainer.

5. Wazir

Starring Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan, one thing is for sure, we're going to see some amazing acting talent in this one. The trailer for the movie is already out, and it promises to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Another movie that looks like a total treat for all Shahrukh Khan fans. Those who have seen the teaser would agree that the movie looks really interesting. The next Khan on the list, 2016 has lots in store of Aamir Khan fans as well! His sports biopic, Dangal, is all set to release in 2016. 11. Jai Gangaajal
Prakash Jha is coming up with a sequel to Gangaajal in 2016, and unlike the first one that starred Ajay Devgn, this time it has Priyanka Chopra playing a cop in the lead. According to Jha, it's the tale of a police-society relationship.

12. Ki And Ka
R. Balki's contemporary story of a stay-at-home husband and a working woman will surely touch the lives of the urban Indians. This is the first time Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor have been paired together, and they look really good! The film explores gender roles in today's urban society. That surely seems to be a novel theme, right?

13. Fitoor
This movie has created quite a lot of buzz, sometimes for good reasons, and sometimes, well, for not such good reasons! Directed by Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On fame, the film stars Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor. It's supposed to be based on Charles Dicken's novel, Great Expectations. Rekha was supposed to be essaying a prominent role in the movie, which she even shot for. But unfortunately, she decided to quit the film mid way, and Tabu was brought on board to replace her.

14. Jagga Jasoos
It's been a while for this movie, that's been getting delayed for all sorts of reasons. It was supposed to release in November 2015, but looks like this will eventually see the light of day in 2016. After getting through so many hurdles, let's see how the movie fares with the audience.

15. Chalk And Duster
Chalk And Duster tells the tale of two school teachers, played by Juhi Chawla and Shabana Azmi, who share a genuine love for teaching and imparting knowledge to their students. 17. Kapoor And Sons
Another Dharma production flick all set to hit the screens in 2016, Kapoor And Sons has a stellar star cast - Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, and Rishi Kapoor. Most probably Sanjay Dutt too will return to Bollywood in this as well. Apparently Sidharth and Fawad play brothers in this film.

18. Baaghi
Tiger Shroff is teaming up with the petite Shraddha Kapoor for his second film,Baaghi. It's touted as a romantic-action flick, where Tiger Shroff's character will go to great lengths to fight for his love. If soppy romance is your thing, then this would definitely interest you.

Starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra together for the first time, the movie is somewhat based on time travel. Well, we'd certainly like to see that happening in a Bollywood film. This is also the first time that Karan Johar's Dharma Production is collaborating with Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment. It will be quite interesting to see what Sidharth's pairing with Katrina Kaif looks like on the big screen.

21. Rangoon
Well, you can't help but be excited for this one. This the first time that Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor are starring together in a film, you know, given their equation with Kareena Kapoor. Apart from that, what also works for the movie is the fact that it's a period romantic drama flick, set during World War II. Buzz is also doing the rounds that Shahid has an intense lovemaking scene with Kangana Ranaut in the movie!

22. Udta Punjab
This movie has a lot going for it. First of all, this is the first time Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are working together in a movie since their break up, even though they are not paired opposite each other. Punjabi cinema's superstar Diljit Dosanjh marks his Bollywood debut with this one, and it stars Alia Bhatt as well. The film explores the theme of increasing drug abuse by the youth in the state of Punjab.

26. M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story
Another biopic based on a cricket legend, this one tells the tale of current Indian cricket team's captain, MS Dhoni. While Sushant Singh Rajput plays the main lead, Kiara Advani plays the role of his wife Sakshi Dhoni. This movie has seen a lot of hurdles already, since it has been delayed a number of times. But the shooting has been going on in full swing now, and it's sure to release in 2016.

27. Neerja
One more biopic! But this time it's on a real-life hero, rather than a sports legend. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of Neerja Bhanot, the brave-heart who lost her life in a plane hijack incident in 1986, and yet saved the lives of hundreds of passengers.
