Alia kissed Shahid with a peck on his cheek, just like in the film’s poster! And Shahid repaid Alia in his own way.
When Alia was yet again being compared to actress Kareena Kapoor, who also happens to be Shahid’s ex, he said he does not find them similar and that Alia has her own journey and originality. ”I think Alia has her own journey, making some brave decisions. “It’s a big compliment for Alia that she’s compared with Kareena, since she’s an extremely established actress and has done some notable work. I don’t see any similarity between the two, since I feel Alia is an original actress and so is Kareena,” Shahid added.
“I did Jab We Met with Kareena many years ago, and now I’m doing Shaandaar with Alia. The only common aspect is that I’m doing a love story. But other than that, I think both are phenomenal actors. Both of them are fantastic in their own ways,” Shahid said firmly.
Now that Shahid and Alia are so good with each other, we can’t wait to see Shaandaar! What’s more, they also star in another film Udta Punjab.
