Celebrities You Loved In The 90s But Are Far Too Embarrassed To Admit To Today

When we were kids we idolised several of these people we saw on TV and heard on the radio. But sadly, our admiration was lost too soon. Know them here.
Over the years of countless celebrities, some continue to be active today, while others have faded away with time. When we were kids we idolised several of these people we saw on TV and heard on the radio. But sadly, our admiration was lost too soon and today, many of us will never admit to having been fans of them in the past. Take a look at some of our most loved celebrities, once upon a time.

1. Dino Morea
The Italian-Indian actor/model was the boy next door in Bollywood way ahead of Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. Although his first film flopped big time, his dimpled smile had us reeling all the way through the 90s. But with his appearance inHappy New Year, we highly doubt that admiration is still there.

2. Raageshwari Loomba
The actress/model-turned singer became an instant hit with teenagers when she forayed into pop music and toured the country with her dance troupe. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy and couldn't make a successful comeback. Later, it pretty much ended when she entered as a contestant on Bigg Boss.

3. Alisha Chinai
'Made in India' left us wanting for more in more ways than one, and probably inspired Mr Modi with his campaign to boost production in the country. But after her stint as a judge on Indian Idol, we pretty much decided not to be associated with her anymore.

4. Baba Sehgal
Way before you knew who Honey Singh was, Baba Sehgal brought rap into the Indian music scene and got us rolling to remakes of several American rap songs, one of them being 'Thanda Thand Pani'. The BITS Pilani graduate made a recent comeback and it looks like he hasn't changed since the 90s.

5. Jackie Shroff
That hairy chest and those bad boy looks are what everybody misses about Jackie today, although they are too chicken to admit it. Too bad his son ended up looking like Kareena Kapoor without make-up.

6. Falguni Pathak
"Chudi jo khanki haath main" is a song we all remember all too well. Come Navratri and all we want to do is hear her. It's a pity the videos are so cringe-worthy despite her being the Dandiya Queen.

7. Britney Spears
The pop princess reigned on through the 90s until she couldn't take it anymore. In 2004 her first marriage lasted 55 hours after which her personal life took a plunge for the worse. After months of rehab, she made a comeback but lost a huge chunk of her fans in the process.

8. N'Sync
The chocolate boys were big back then, but if you see their music videos now you'd wonder how Justin Timberlake is the only one with a career today.

9. Pamela Anderson
Best known for role in Baywatch, the Canadian-American actress/model has moved to new pastures with her activism for animal rights, vegan-ism, AIDS and the legalisation of cannabis.

10. David Haselhoff
For those of you who thought the Baywatch actor was a complete hunk, I'd like to see your faces now.

11. Sunny Deol
That gallant and brave war hero, we can't imagine Sunny as anything else. Best known for his portrayal of Brigadier Kuldeep Singh in the movie Border, he was the action hero and the closest India could get to Sylvester Stallone. In 2013, Deol was the voice actor for Vin Diesel in the Hindi dub of the movie Riddick. Way to go paaji, except that no one wants to see you now. He's also a horrible dancer, and I really needed to get that off my chest.
